Good Morning!

I’m here for Mommy Monday’s after an exciting weekend.

Today on the blog, we have Candace: Mother of four, former SAHM, Finance and Herbalife Consultant!

How old are you?

30

What's your nationality?

Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian

Tell us about your children.

Teshay is 8 going on 18 caring and smart blessing.

Shayla is a 6 she is a very fast learner but, gets frustrated easy with a very strong character.

Chloèe is a 3 she demands a lot of attention but she is very sweet.

Kandace my quietiest and tiniest child she is a ball of calm and fun at the same time.

How is it raising four girls?

Very entertaining and challenging when the argue it’s a war but they love each other a lot

Any tips staying balanced?

Take time for yourself.

Take a nap ,a cup of wine , a prayer

Stay firm and keep the love and rules across all children no favorites and no exemptions!

Being a mother is not an easy job. How does your role as mom affect your role as a wife?

Sometimes I feel like I could be a better wife. I don’t always have the energy to perform my wife duties but, I keep a somewhat clean house and, cook meals everyday so when we do have alone time I make it special for him.

What is the biggest misconception you had about mothers prior to becoming one? How has your thought process changed?

That being a stay at home mom is easier than being a working mom.

I have now done both and I was completely wrong whether you work in or outside of the house a mothers job is never done

Woman to woman, what self-care advice do you have for us today?

Don’t feel guilty about doing things for yourself.

Get a mani pedi, get a massage, take a bath with the works, dye your hair, take time for yourself! It’s necessary; you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Are you a working mom? SAHM? What field do you work in?

I’m currently self employed I am an independent rep for Herbalife and I do taxes. Finance and fitness are my passion.

Do you have any financial advice for women who may be scared to expand their family?

Just do it. Pick up a passion, set a goal, and go for it. God doesn’t give your more than you can handle. Expand your family as much as you can handle. Four of my kids I got pregnant while I was on birth control. I picked up shift work and became a Herbalife rep and it was the best decision I ever made.
