Blessed Three: Two 9 year olds and a 19 month old

Everyone stop what you are doing and thank God or whom/whatever you believe in for another day!

9 years and 2 days ago, I had my second baby. Ajani Ayizé is Carmelo’s Irish Twin. Yes— they are less than twelve months apart. Flash back to the day I found out that I was pregnant with him.

27 weeks Pregnant

I had a little ’beer belly’ going on without having drank the beer because I was still nursing. Everyone on their dad’s side of the family and my side of the family began to give me a side eye. Finally, people started asking if I was pregnant and, my response was ”No, I’m on birth control!”

My mom convinced me to go to the doctor and low and behold, I was on the Depo shot and pregnant. Apparently, my pregnancy test gave a false negative (I say get the blood work every time, ladies).

10 short weeks later, we had two kids under two. I was scared shitless but, I've been killing motherhood despite of anything I have gone through.

Now

As a recently single, co-parenting mommy of three, I fully intend on raising three kings while keeping great mental and spiritual health. Hence the most recent hiatus.
