Flirty Thirty Photoshoot with AMPlified Photography

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Last Month I celebrated my #FlirtyThirty, and I also kicked off Women's Month a day early by celebrating my good friend and colleague Wynter Parham on Wonder Woman Wednesday.

After revamping the website a bit, I would like to share some of my favorite unedited shots from my photoshoot with AMPLified Photography.

Just to give everyone a little background on the photoshoot:

It took place at several locations in the South Bronx. I lived in the Bronx most of my childhood after leaving Spanish Harlem at the age of 11. My Photographer, Amparo, picked the locations following our consult whereas I made it clear that I wanted anywhere in the Bronx with fantastic street art and she made it happen!

#FlirtyThirty signifies me flirting with my evolution while being in the midst of it. Growth never stops so I do not want to be in the mindset that I must be doing this or that just because I am thirty. The term flirty was not meant to be provocative. I am a WOMAN before I was a mother. My body went through many changes after being pregnant for the first time in over eight years so, just as I celebrated my pregnant self, I am honoring the mommy of three. Through the grace of God, I made it through every pregnancy.
