Mommy Monday Recap

Happy Thursday Ribbies!

In honor of Throwback Thursday and Mommy Monday’s returning next Monday, here is a recap of some great advice from  past Mommy Mondays!

Don’t stop checking on them after baby comes. Visit if they’re up for it. Bring food or ask if their open to going out with baby to a non crowded spot. Mother hood is very lonely even though physically you’re not alone anymore. You need adult contact. People are quick to “give you space” when pregnant but often times that’s not what you want and or need.

Well basically, before I got pregnant, I was telling my following as well as those I mentor to be celibate. While as you can see, I wasn’t lol!  So, basically, live the life you preach. Don’t preach gold when you’re living dirt…if that makes sense. I’m a Jesus lover through and through and I feel God allowed certain things to occur before, during, and after my pregnancy for His Greater glory.

My advice to mothers who have bonus children is to always keep in mind the happiness of the children. Be cordial and respectful to your bonus children’s mom. Respect what she expects. Most importantly before you fall hard for the man, love the children like your own. They say “it takes a village to raise children”, that is right on target.  Every parent should be on the same page when it comes to the educational aspect as well as mannerisms of the child(ren). Adult issues among parents should never interfere with the children. The children are not at fault and as parents our duty is to provide a sustainable lifestyle that will keep the children’s lives at a happy medium! We should not mix our issues and be petty. As I said being cordial and most importantly keeping the children happy!
