The triple Eight

Yesterday, my youngest son turned eight months!

Happy eight months Tahir!

Many people do not account for these crazy milestones. Myself, on the other hand, I love keeping track of the changes, phases, and stages that my boys go through. Speaking of which, Carmelo and Ajani are both eight years old until September. Hence the name of this post.

At eight years old, Carmelo and Ajani pride themselves on making comics that they would like to publish one day. They also want to know how to prepare every dish they love to eat. Although I am a fan of making quick meals that are under forty-five minutes, I enjoy having the boys in the kitchen with me.

Last week, we purchased ingredients to make homemade cookies. Unfortunately, I forgot the chocolate chips. I will share that baking experience in a later post.

As for Tahir, eight months and, he has accomplished many milestones such as: taking steps (last month), standing on his own, cruising, self feeds using the pincher grasp, simple gesture usage (hi, bye, shrugs shoulders lol), to name a few.

The triple eight love each other dearly. I am excited to see what the next season of motherhood brings.
