Once Upon a Owen

As some of you may know, the planning of any event is not an easy task for a single person to take on. So, I pretty much bit off more than I could chew... or so I thought...

My Mother, various family members, sisters in Christ, husband to be ( at the time) , all came through for me to make my wedding spectacular.

When God revealed to me that I was going to get married in 2012, I took the idea of marriage and ran with it. I bought my dress, had our sisters fitted for dresses... the whole nine yards. If these last three years has taught me anything, I would say that I have learned to be patient. If it is not in God's timing whether it is in His will or not, you will only be setting yourself up for failure.

By the grace of God, I married my best friend ten days ago.

It was intimate.

I surprised myself and wore a veil.

My brother walked me down the aisle.

We laughed and cried together.

I blinked and our wedding day was over.

Here's a glimpse...
